Upstairs At Cleaver & Wake Reveals Calendar Of Exquisite Events

Nottingham canalside event space, Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake, has launched an exciting calendar of exquisite events which feature high-end workshops, masterclasses, theatre performances, glamorous parties and more.

Taking place in the stunning venue located on the top floor of the iconic 1 The Island Quarter building, and offering panoramic views across the city, the upcoming schedule offers a selection of premium ticketed events.

 

Events taking place at Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake this year include a glittering New Year’s Eve party which promises a celebration to remember. Marking the perfect way to usher in the new year in style, guests will receive a welcome glass of bubbles upon arrival, followed by a three course meal from a menu created by the chefs at the finer dining restaurant below, Cleaver & Wake.

Guests will then be able to dance the night away until midnight with a selection of the best party tunes from the venue’s resident DJ.

Meanwhile, next year the team already have lots to look forward to, including a romantic Valentine’s weekend performance of Romeo and Juliet from The Royal Shakespeare Company, on 16th February. There’ll also be a special Mother’s Day Charlotte Tilbury makeup masterclass taking place on Friday 8th March, where attendees will learn a few key tips and tricks of the trade, and receive a luxurious Charlotte Tilbury goodie bag to take home.

Since its launch, the event space at Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake has played host to a range of private events, from showstopping balls and breathtaking weddings, to conferences, networking events and more. However, over the coming months, we’ll be hosting a range of special ticketed events which will be open to the public, with something to suit all tastes.

We’ve partnered with some of the region’s most talented individuals to provide treasured moments visitors can share with family, friends and loved ones. In addition to its glittering calendar of events at Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake, finer dining restaurant Cleaver & Wake will also be hosting the perfect New Year’s celebration for foodies, with a New Year’s Eve champagne dinner.

Starting at 6.00pm, guests will receive a glass of champagne upon arrival before indulging in a sumptuous five-course dinner. Dishes include Anjou pigeon served with walnut ketchup, pear and celeriac; malt whisky cured salmon served with kohlrabi, sea herbs and citrus; and highland venison served with dukkha, smoked beetroot and brassica cabbage.
