The Unconventional Wedding Fair is coming to Nottingham on Sunday 25th February 2024. It's perfect for couples looking to do things a little different or even a fully themed wedding day! 

Taking place in the stunning venue located on the top floor of the iconic 1 The Island Quarter building, and offering panoramic views across the city, the upcoming schedule offers a selection of premium ticketed events.

There’s loads of music concerts, top family shows and elite sporting contests coming up at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena to put a sparkle in the festive calendar and provide that all important gifting inspiration. A Christmas Celebration on Monday 18 December, sees the Southwell Festival Voices join forces with director Marcus Farnsworth and narrator Simone Ibbett-Brown to share carols old and new in a stunning and atmospheric sequence of poetry and music celebrating the joy of Christmas.

On the weekend of 16th/17th September 2023 it will be sixty (60) years since Avro Vulcan XM594 entered operational RAF service with the Vulcan Wing at RAF Scampton, just north of Lincoln. Some twenty (20) years later, in February 1983, XM594 was retired from service and joined the Newark Air Museum. To mark the anniversary, the museum is hosting a two-day event, which will allow visitors to get close access to the aircraft, and the chance to talk to former Vulcan air and ground crews who help look after the aircraft at the museum.
