Running from 16th to 31st October during normal opening hours, a selection of spine-tingling activities will be available for keen families to sink their teeth into at the family-owned adventure park.

New for this year, visitors can conquer the Lucky Black Cat Puzzle Trail, where they must identify eight black cats fiendishly hidden throughout the park, ticking them off the Missing Witch’s Black Cat Puzzle List as they explore.

The theme park will be adorned with ghostly decorations and visitors of all ages can enjoy the much-loved rides and play areas along the way, including the Jolly Pirate Boat Ride, Lollipoppet Castle and Monkey Mayhem Driving School.

Along with several food and drink outlets to keep hungry tummies satisfied throughout the day including Crash Landings and Rodeo Corral Café, children who’ve completed the spooky trail will receive a sweet treat from the Pumpkin Patch Café, as a reward for their efforts.

Gaynor Corr, Sundown Adventureland’s owner, said: “Imagination, adventure and quality time with loved ones is at the heart of everything our park stands for and the Spooktacular Halloween event is no different.

“With new additions like the Lucky Black Cat Puzzle Trail, Sundown’s family-friendly environment and extensive list of activities is the perfect day out for some spooktacular fun during the half term break.”

The Spooktacular Halloween event will run during normal opening times (10am - 4pm), with tickets priced at £17.50 for adults or children over 90cm, while children under 90cm enter for free. Discounts are available for those registered disabled, carer or over 65.

The park will be operating enhanced cleaning regimes throughout the event and all indoor play areas, cafes and rides will remain open until closing times.
