Robin Hood Festival at Sherwood Forest

Every year the WSA choose a worthwhile charity to support by raising funds to make donations. This year we chose Bassetlaw Hospice in Retford and two of its representatives who are responsible for fundraising accepted our invitation to open our exhibition. Debbie Rawlings and Bonney Baggaley each gave an insight into the excellent service the hospice provides for patients, family and carers and their dependence on fundraising by supporting organisations and the generosity of the public in general.  They revealed the news that they would shortly no longer receive funding from the NHS and…
