On Saturday 4 July, North Notts Food Fest returned to Worksop, bringing together families from across the district for a free day celebrating the very best of North Nottinghamshire's food and drink scene.

Organised by North Notts BID, the event featured TV chef Phil Vickery alongside local chefs, artisan traders, cookery demonstrations, family activities and live entertainment, with visitors turning out in force to support local businesses.

Sally Gillborn MBE, chief executive at North Notts BID, said: "It was fantastic to see families from right across the district coming together to celebrate everything that's great about food and drink in North Nottinghamshire. The atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant and it was wonderful to see so many people making the most of this free event in the heart of Worksop.

"We had a fantastic programme of activities and demonstrations throughout the day, with TV chef Phil Vickery proving a real highlight for visitors alongside our talented local chefs and food experts. From inspiring cookery demonstrations and hands-on family activities to our brilliant selection of artisan stalls, there was something for everyone and we hope people went home with plenty of new ideas, recipes and inspiration.

"It was especially rewarding to see so many people supporting our local traders, enjoying the entertainment and spending quality time together. North Notts Food Fest is all about bringing people together and showcasing the very best our district has to offer. We'd like to thank everyone who joined us for a fantastic free family day out and helped make this year's event such a success."
