Every purchase and donation will directly support the rescue, care and rehoming of vulnerable dogs across Nottinghamshire and beyond, offering them the love and second chances they deserve.
It was presented with the Employer Award as one of eight deserving category winners at the glittering ceremony, organised by Nottinghamshire County Council, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham on Thursday 11 September.
The plaque, presented on Tuesday (2 September) at the college’s construction site in Pleasley Vale Business Park, highlights the college’s reputation as an excellent End-Point Assessment (EPA) centre.
This comes after the college was awarded a £500,000 grant from the US-based Gene Haas Foundation through its pioneering partnership with the global engineering powerhouse.
This 46th edition of the competition featured 16 students from colleges in the East Midlands competing in a one-day practical work competition judged by sector experts.
The prestigious event on Friday (14 March) recognised outstanding contributions to the region’s economic growth and community development, highlighting the resilience, creativity, and ambition of the local business community.
The 58-year-old was recognised for services to the community of Ashfield and Mansfield. Since joining the college in May 2019, Mr Cropley has made it his mission to place it at the heart of both districts through partnerships across education, health and business, and investments in new campuses and facilities, which have transformed opportunities for students, apprentices and employers.
The Ministry of Defence awarded the college and other Forces-friendly employers in the East Midlands with the highly-coveted Silver Award of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme at a ceremony on 2 October.
Despite the weather, the bikers bravely endured the wet conditions and set off from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire on 7 July to complete a circular route through picturesque villages to Market Rasen, Lincolnshire and returning via Lincoln.
