The gates to the Derbyshire estate will reopen for the new season on Saturday 26 March and Chatsworth has set up two spectacular new exhibitions and a host of tempting new experiences and gifts perfect for families looking to treat Mum to a special day out.

To mark the occasion, Chatsworth has launched a new range of gifts, especially with Mums’ in mind. ‘A quiet moment’ is a gift box range including a selection of Chatsworth homewares, stationery and delicious food and drink sourced in and around the Derbyshire estate and each comes presented in a branded gift box with a hand-tied bow. Mother's Day hampers are also available, showcasing an indulgent selection of award-winning estate farm shop sweet and savoury delights, homeware and stationery.

In the house, a new exhibition called ‘Living With Art We Love’ is on display. A special selection of artworks chosen by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, with many items from their private collection not usually seen in public.

Outside, the world-famous 105-acre garden is beginning to bloom with the first flowers and plants of spring showing in the remodelled Rock Garden and Arcadia areas. Meanwhile, sculptures have started to arrive in the parkland for Radical Horizons: The Art of Burning Man at Chatsworth, a large-scale exhibition in the publicly accessible 1000-acre park surrounding the house, which sees 12 monumental sculptures from Burning Man, held in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, going on display in the UK for the first time from 9 April to 1 October.

Finally, after a long day’s sightseeing, the Cavendish restaurant and Carriage House cafe will be open for refreshments throughout the day while Flying Childers will be serving afternoon tea.

Tickets to Chatsworth's signature calendar of events are also now available to book online including the return of Chatsworth Country Fair and Chatsworth International Horse Trials after a two-year absence.

Information on all of Chatsworth's events, experiences and gifting ideas can be found on its website. As well as the range of gift boxes and hampers, Chatsworth's online shop offers jewellery, clothing accessories, homeware and much more inspired by Chatsworth and the Devonshire Collections and produced or made on the estate or by local suppliers. For Mother’s Day deliveries, orders from Chatsworth’s online shop are available up until 24 March.
