To celebrate Derbyshire Day, the award-winning attraction, Heights of Abraham, has partnered with new brand Derbyshire Tea. On this day the locally blended tea is being served in the Terrace Café, Vista Restaurant and the Tavern at the Heights.

Richard Felix of Derbyshire Tea said: ‘I’m so pleased to work with Heights of Abraham to share the delightful taste of Derbyshire Tea with their visitors from across the country.’

Living history actor, Benjamin Bryan, the Victorian owner of the Heights (pictured), will be telling great tales of Derbyshire over the coming days, including how he used to light up the Victoria Prospect Tower with pyrotechnic displays to entice curious Victorian tourists from the streets below to make the ascent to the summit of Masson Hill.

Derbyshire residents are also offered 20% off cable car tickets if visiting the Heights between the 22nd and 25th of September. The green and blue Derbyshire flag has replaced the Union Flag atop the Victoria Prospect tower, which will be illuminated green on the nights of the 21st and 22nd of September, along with other iconic Derbyshire buildings. Images of illuminated buildings are being shared on social media with the hashtag #DerbyshireDay22

Rupert Pugh, Development Director of the Heights of Abraham commented: ‘We are proud to call Derbyshire our home and are excited to celebrate Derbyshire Day, to show the nation what our beautiful county is all about’.

The Heights of Abraham is open daily until the 6th of November this year, tickets can be purchased in advance at www.heightsofabraham.com
